About the role
Role Overview: As a Consultant within the Customer, Consumer & Competitor Insights team at Novo Nordisk, your main responsibility will be to lead the development of commercial dashboards that drive speed to insights for the International Operations. You will play a crucial role in turning data into decisions that impact millions of patients across 194 countries. Your expertise in data visualization will be essential in translating complex business needs into compelling dashboards and ensuring global commercial teams have the necessary insights. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Power BI and Power Apps dashboards to enable commercial stakeholders in making data-driven decisions. - Owning end-to-end data management activities such as data mapping, validation, quality checks, and proactive monitoring for data accuracy and flow. - Building and maintaining data infrastructure including data lakes with a focus on governance, reliability, and scalability. - Leading the data visualization, governance, and management process for the function, serving as the go-to technical expert for Power BI and other visualization solutions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies to understand business needs and translate them into effective visualizations. - Managing and coordinating with external vendors involved in data and dashboard development activities. - Ensuring timely dashboard updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance while suggesting tool improvements proactively. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 5-7 years of total professional experience, with at least 4-5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience. - Advanced expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, creating multiple data connections, DAX, and performance optimization. - Strong working knowledge of SQL and data lake architectures, with proven experience in data governance, validation, and scalable analytics solutions. - Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across international teams and manage external vendors. - Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, ability to work independently in a complex global environment, and proven time and project management skills. - Proactive attitude, quick learning ability with a strong inclination for tools and data governance, excellent communication skills. - Good-to-have skills include Python, Power Apps, Gen AI, and Agentic AI.
