Your day at NTT DATA The Senior Team Lead, Software QA and Testing is a developing management role, responsible for providing input to the effective planning, control, and coordination of the relevant test program. This role ensures adherence to the test methodology and the quality of their direct line reports output through the application of management principles and test and quality assurance methodology and manages a team of individuals to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to relevant operational requirements. The Senior Team Lead, Software QA and Testing takes responsibility for the quality of the software application/module and ensures continuous improvement process is followed. This people management role fosters a team-oriented and innovative team cultures focused on operational excellence. Key responsibilities: Works closely with internal clients and project team to ensure the translation of functional requirements into testable scenarios, test cases, and test plans and ensures execution against these enabling the delivery of a robust solution. Monitors the development and design of test cases, ensures test case coverage and ensures the preparation of the test environment. Manages quality assurance and sign off the test plan and test cases and/or data prior to its execution. Monitors high-quality software releases and keeps abreast of current trends in software quality assurance and requirements analysis best practices. Provides input to research and suggests technologies to improve testing tools and development processes.
