Backend Java Developer

Your responsibilities will include: - Discussing new features with development, UX, commercial product managers, and product owners - Agreeing on technical implementations and estimating work effort - Writing high-quality code and performing code reviews - Implementing, testing, and demonstrating new product features in an agile process - Developing complete sets of functionalities, including backend and frontend - Creating new microservices or migrating existing services to run on a cloud infrastructure - Working on usability, performance improvements, quality assurance, bug fixes, and test automation - Identifying and addressing potential security issues To qualify for this role, you should have: - A BTech in computer science or equivalent - At least 5 years of experience in Java development - Knowledge of popular Java libraries and frameworks such as JPA, Spring, and Kafka - Strong communication, analytical, goal-oriented, and quality-focused skills - A clear understanding of all layers in computer software development, including REST APIs - Proficiency in Java server-side development and SQL and noSQL databases - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies - Familiarity with cloud and DevOps infrastructure like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Concourse - Fluency in English This is a great opportunity for a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative products.
