About the role
Senior Data Analyst & Data Scientist Supply Chain Management Location - Mumbai (Onsite) Experience - 5-8 years in Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Analytics, or Data Science roles Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst & Data Scientist SCM who will own end-to-end analytics and advanced modelling across supply chain operations. The role combines business-driven analytics within planning domain, predictive & prescriptive modelling, and stakeholder leadership to drive availability, cost efficiency, fulfilment speed, and customer experience at scale. The ideal candidate has handson experience in e-commerce / retail / quickcommerce SCM, strong Python/SQLbased analytics, exposure to forecasting and ML models, and a proven ability to translate complex data into measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Own SCM analytics charter covering demand and network planning, replenishment, inventory health, and fulfilment performance Lead deep-dive analyses to identify bottlenecks, leakage, and operational inefficiencies across the supply chain Design and implement demand forecasting and replenishment models using Time-series methods, Machine learning & deep learning Drive adoption of analytics solutions through storytelling, dashboards (Tableau), and executive-ready narratives Develop scalable Python & SQL pipelines Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: Python, SQL, Tableau, Statistical Modelling & Forecasting Experience with ML models (regression, classification, time-series, LSTM), Strong proficiency in Excel for business analysis Business & Domain Skills: Strong understanding of Supply Chain & Operations in e-commerce / retail / quick-commerce. Experience with demand forecasting, inventory & replenishment analytics, fulfilment & network optimization, and excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field Experience in large-scale marketplaces or omnichannel retail Exposure to quick-commerce .
