About the role
The candidate will be a key member of the o9 client interfacing test team and will be focused and contributing to : Provide hands-on technical assistance to enable test automation, improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability Be able to guide the test team in overall test design and execution Identify Performance Bottlenecks and develop enhancements Work closely with the client/architects to gather functional and nonfunctional requirements from stakeholders, preparing test plan and relevant docs, effort estimation and developing test scripts for complex applications Develop new ideas/strategy/approach to continuously improve the process of automation and performance engineering Required Experience and Skills : Performance Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in functional/ and non-functional validation Must be able to expert in SQL and comfortably code in any 1 programming language Thorough Understanding of distributed system architecture , microservices and identifying challenges with scale Good Understanding of Cloud Architecture specifically on AWS and/or Azure and/or Google Cloud and capacity planning of the Infra Should be comfortable in Git and best practices wrt version control Should have used Continuous Integration tools viz Jenkins(desirable) to schedule automated execution Powershell scripting for automated job creation debugging level knowledge is desired Hands-On knowledge on No-SQL databases like MongoDB Strong to perform backend data validations What we ll do for you Flexibility: Work from home Get up a bit later, skip the commute and put the time back into your deadlines Get social: When we work from home, we play from home with fun after-work activities like Friday Socials If you re in the office, feel free to join these events in person Flat organization: With a very strong entrepreneurial culture (and no corporate politics) Support network: Work with a team you can learn from and every day
