About the role
Use and knowledge of Cisco / Fortinet (routers, switches, Firewall, wireless, load balancers cable testing equipment. Expertise in the design, analysis, optimization, and operation of LAN/WAN, wireless and security devices. Packet capturing and interpretation. Solid analytical and logical troubleshooting skills. SNMP for Network Management. NetFlow for baseline and troubleshooting communications. Follow procedures and guidelines to install, patch, configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, and maintain infrastructure technology. Identifying and implementing ways to prevent problems and future proofing the technologies. Ability to guide future decisions to ensure Network services continue to meet the needs of customers. Maintain disaster recovery documentation. Hands-on experience in some of or all following areas: Data Center Technologies, QoS, VoIP SSL VPN/IPsec VPN, Wireless technologies, Load balancers, Cisco Nexus, SAN Connectivity. Good experience on site-to-site VPN, remote VPN, data protection, URL filtering, NAT, QOS, IPSEC. Experience with performance monitoring tools.
