Business Analyst (IT)

Experience: 11.5 Years | Employment Type: Full-Time | Location: Mumbai About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical Business Analyst (IT) with 11.5 years of experience to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives to support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and analyze business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discussions.Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and process flow diagrams.Collaborate closely with development, QA, UI/UX, and project teams throughout the SDLC.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.Create wireframes, process maps, and other project documentation where required.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions against business requirements.Track project progress, identify risks, and communicate issues proactively.Support timely project delivery by coordinating with cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications 11.5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT company or IT-enabled services environment.Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process documentation.Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar project management tools.Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying.Familiarity with wireframing tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or Lucidchart.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred Skills Experience working on web or mobile application projects.Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.CBAP, CCBA, or Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
