About the role
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date records for capacity model assumptions, including UPH, Availability, and OEE.
Executes on the strategic roadmap for the industrial engineering department to automate and enhance analytics capabilities, reduce analytics cycle time, and standardize analytics for OEE and other KPIs.
Responsible for utilizing and ensuring the accuracy of OEE and other metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements with manufacturing, process, and equipment groups.
Utilize key manufacturing concepts and statistical methods, such as Theory of Constraints, Just-in-time, Lean, Pull/Push systems, production planning and scheduling systems, Lean Six Sigma, and SPC, to monitor and improve factory flow.
Interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to influence the chain of command in both directions.
Develops realistic production targets and aligns engineering projects with business demand to meet customer delivery requirements.
Maintains a working relationship with Manufacturing.
Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
