Job Title: Computer Vision/Deep Learning Scientist (Various Levels)

Location: Atlanta, GA 30308 (HYBRID: 2x/Week onsite)

Contract duration: 6+ Months, Long-term.

Industry: Rail Transportation.

***NOTES: If outside of the Atlanta area, the candidate can be fully remote.

What are our requirements:

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.

Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant industry experience (as a Computer Vision Scientist, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Machine Learning Scientist, etc.), 3+ preferred; or proven qualifications.

Excellent knowledge of Python and industry experience with PyTorch or other Deep Learning tools.

Industry experience with Deep Learning (semantic segmentation, object detection, classification).

What will be your duties:

The candidate will be working on the Digital Train Inspection project.

Design, develop, and implement novel computer vision algorithms for unique use cases.

Design and build novel/custom Deep Learning architectures.

Evaluate accuracy and quality of the designed models as well as data sources.

Design and develop production-ready code.

Coordinate with application development teams to integrate developed models with existing applications.

Manage the complete model development life-cycle – from requirements gathering to post-production support.

Communicate results to colleagues, business partners, and senior management.

Guide junior team members and oversee targeted research and team projects.

Lead hiring efforts and candidate evaluation.
