The SR Structural Designer 2 position requires

20+ years heavy industrial/power plant

experience. Job responsibilities include

producing 3D models and design drawings for

structural steel, reinforced concrete, and/or

ductwork, preparing layouts and conceptual

designs, reviewing vendor shop fabrication

drawings is a plus, preparing material takeoffs

and assist with cost estimates, coordinating

work with other disciplines, clients, and

contractors, and performing site walk-downs

for field verification and to address

constructability. Skillsets and expertise

required for this position include proficient

using AutoCAD, extensive 3D modeling and

drawing creation experience is strongly

preferred, experience with Advance Steel is

preferred, steel and concrete detailing

background is strongly preferred, good

Technical writing skills, must be able to

produce clear, concise drawing notes, able to

work effectively both as part of a team and

independently, and the ability to build effective

relationships with plant staff, design

engineering staff and/or vendors.
