Deskside Engineer

Job Description Provide first-level hardware and software support in a 24 7 rotating shift environment including night shift Handle user incidents and service requests, following defined escalation procedures Install and configure hardware and computer peripherals on end-user systems Deliver IT support for desktops, laptops, and related devices Perform weekly and monthly patching activities and coordinate with end users Troubleshoot Windows PCs, M365, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, VDI, and VPN issues Support peripherals such as printers, scanners, and POS systems Work closely with IT teams to resolve technical issues and maintain service continuity Qualifications Diploma / ITE in Hardware or Software Engineering (or equivalent) Basic networking knowledge (Routing Switching) Familiarity with SCCM (good to have) Knowledge of ITIL processes (good to have) Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills Ability to work in rotating 24 7 shifts Experience Minimum 1+ year of technical support or deskside engineering experience Hands-on experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft tools Experience providing on-site or deskside IT support Exposure to patch management processes Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
