Job Description Server & Network Engineer Position Server & Network Engineer Experience 2+ Year Location As per business requirement / Customer Sites Key Responsibilities Server Administration - Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments. - Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services. - Handle server backup, restoration, patch management, and performance monitoring. - Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. - Troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, storage, and application-related issues. - Configure and manage NAS/SAN storage solutions. Network Administration - Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments. - Manage VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, DHCP relay, and switching infrastructure. - Configure and support enterprise Wi-Fi environments. - Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues. - Coordinate with ISPs for internet and leased line troubleshooting. Firewall & Security - Configure and support firewalls such as Palo Alto, FortiGate, Sophos, etc. - Manage VPN solutions including Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN. - Implement firewall policies, NAT rules, and security best practices. - Troubleshoot network security and access-related issues. - Support endpoint security and antivirus solutions. Cloud & Microsoft Services - Support Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online. - Manage Azure AD / Entra ID user administration and basic cloud services. - Support email security, licensing, and user on boarding/off boarding activities. Technical Support - Provide remote and onsite technical support to multiple customers. - Handle incident management, escalation handling, and root cause analysis. - Prepare technical documentation and network diagrams. - Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support. - Maintain SLA compliance and effective customer communication. - Ability to manage mul .
