Senior Java Automation Engineer

Job Title: Senior Java Automation Engineer (Selenium | Playwright | Cypress) Location: Chennai Experience: 7 - 9 years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Work from Office Budget: As per the Market Must Have: Java programming, angular, Ext JS, Selenium Automation Framework Development Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. Ensure the frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and reusable. Write and maintain automated test scripts for various applications and platforms. Develop end-to-end, unit, and integration tests. Dev tools JAVA microservice / JEE (MUST) Angular (MUST) API/REST Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries. Experience in developing application codes and ExtJS to Angular migration project. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and feedback. Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline the deployment process. Identify, document, and report bugs and issues. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress and results. Primary Skill Advance Java with automation frameworks Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Java programming. Good understanding of OOPS concepts Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries. Extensive experience with automation frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. .
