Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer – MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to lead and manage MEP design and execution across our eco-habitat projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for sustainable development. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of MEP systems that align with our sustainability ethos. Key Responsibilities: · Project Planning & Design Coordination: o Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and sustainability consultants to integrate MEP systems in design stages. o Evaluate and review MEP designs ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and green building guidelines. · Execution & Supervision: o Supervise contractors and subcontractors during installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. o Monitor project timelines, costs, quality, and safety standards across all MEP aspects. o Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly. · Vendor & Contractor Management: o Evaluate and onboard MEP contractors and vendors. o Manage contracts, billing, and performance tracking. · Sustainability & Innovation: o Implement energy-efficient and water-saving technologies that align with Organo's eco-habitat goals. o Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative, sustainable MEP solutions. · Documentation & Compliance: o Maintain project documentation including BOQs, drawings, material approvals, test reports, and commissioning checklists. o Ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies, green building certifications (IGBC, GRIHA), and statutory approvals. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus. · 8–12 years of experience in MEP execution in real estate/residential townships/hospitality projects. · Proven experience in handling MEP aspects of large-scale residential or mixed-use developments. · Strong knowledge of sustainable building technologies, green certifications, and environmental systems. · Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Attributes: · Passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious design. · Familiarity with eco-habitat or farm-community developments. · Exposure to BIM/Revit tools for MEP coordination is desirable.
