Cyber Incident Response Lead

You are looking for a Cyber Incident Response Lead position at Owens & Minor in India, where you will investigate and respond to cyber threats during night shifts. You will review security alerts escalated by SOC analysts, investigate incidents, contain and remediate them, record incident details, and execute response protocols. You will collaborate with IT, Legal, and HR teams and communicate with end users. Key Responsibilities: - Review security alerts escalated by SOC analysts - Investigate incidents to determine scope and impact - Take steps to contain and remediate incidents - Record incident details in the tracking system - Execute response protocols and playbooks - Communicate with end users and collaborate with cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in cyber incident response and investigations - 5 years of experience in analyzing email headers and contents - 3 years of experience in malware investigation and offline analysis - 2 years of experience in leading cybersecurity incident response - Strong understanding of SIEM log analysis and queries - Strong knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities - Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, SMB, CIFS, and SMTP - Strong analytical and critical observation skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision - Desired certifications: GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA), GIAC Cloud Forensics Responder (GCFR), GIAC Enterprise Incident Response (GEIR) If you are interested in joining Owens & Minor as a Cyber Incident Response Lead and believe this opportunity aligns with your career goals, you are encouraged to apply.
