About the role
As a Data Analyst at Pall Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting Pan-Pall product marketing initiatives, including Product Lifecycle Management, Pricing, and Competitive Intelligence. Your responsibilities will involve collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the organization. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will develop reports and dashboards to present findings clearly and recommend actions based on trends. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Product Marketing. Key Responsibility Areas: - Product Lifecycle Management: - Track and monitor key performance indicators from various sources to determine initiative progress and ensure Business Units follow standard work and governance. - Analyze data for trends and provide recommendations to drive standard products and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD). - Maintain cross-business unit tools for easy access to product classification, lead time, status, and inventory. - Develop workflows to automate data collection and processing tasks. - Partner with business unit product management, sales, and operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement in KPI tracking, tools, and standard work. - Pricing Initiative: - Develop tools to standardize price metric tracking across business units. - Create templates to support BU marketing teams with price planning to optimize price lists and discount matrices. - Research and monitor relevant indices to support price increase recommendations for cross BU portfolios. - Proxy: - Ensure timely tracking of proxy data on a quarterly basis. - Develop templates for BU Marketing to communicate Pall vs. proxy performance and recommended actions to relevant stakeholders. - Research available tools for Competitor reporting. - Continuous Learning and Development: - Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics. - Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities. - Share knowledge and insights with colleagues to encourage continuous learning. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include: - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. - Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with data visualization tools is a plus. - Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is desirable.
