Job Description - Modeler (Precast Concrete) - Tekla / Revit Position Details : Designation: Modeler Department: Precast - Concrete Reporting To: Project Manager Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Precast Modeler with strong expertise in Tekla Structures (or) Revit for precast detailing and modeling. The ideal candidate should possess sound technical knowledge of precast concrete elements, detailing standards, and project coordination. The role involves creating highly accurate 3D models, preparing detailed fabrication and construction drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities : Develop highly accurate 3D models of structural and architectural precast elements using Tekla Structures (or) Revit . Perform modeling and detailing of precast and in-situ concrete elements , including: Columns Beams Slabs Walls Stairs Faade Panels Prepare detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and construction drawings for precast and in-situ structures. Execute reinforcement detailing , custom component creation, and template development in Tekla. Review and check precast drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to align models with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and documentation. Ensure adherence to applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations , particularly UK and European standards where applicable. Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control across all project deliverables. Resolve modeling and detailing issues while ensuring project timelines are met. Candidate Requirements : Educational Qualification Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering . Experience 4- 9 years of experience in Precast Detailing and Modeling using Tekla Structures (or) Revit . Proven experience in complex precast modeling and detailing projects. Experience working on UK and European Standard projects is highly preferred. Skills & Competencies : Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures (or) Revit . Strong expertise in precast modeling and detailing. Reinforcement detailing and drawing preparation. Component creation and template development. Thorough understanding of precast concrete systems and detailing standards. Core Competencies Excellent modeling and detailing capabilities.
