ASP.NET Developer

You are looking for a ASP.Net developer to join the application development team. You should have a solid understanding of relational database theory, SQL syntax, and object-oriented programming. Strong knowledge of Microsoft .Net framework, ASP.Net (C#), and concepts of web-based application development would be a plus. A 4-year degree in computer science or a related field is required. Responsibilities: - Assisting the development team with database maintenance tasks. - Writing custom data imports/exports to assist with data transfers between clients and internal systems, involving writing SQL queries and designing a web-based UI. - Assisting the Development team in tracking down and repairing software bugs. - Assisting in quality control of new and existing software. - Ability to retain/absorb information readily. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. - Ability to work independently and productively. - High level of maturity, discretion, tact, and judgment - Confidentiality is a must. - Excellent organizational and time management skills required. - Flexible in dealing with a variety of situations and able to prioritize among multiple tasks. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required (including grammar and spelling). - Occasional writing of technical and procedural documentation. - Analyze non-routine problems and communicate effectively by telephone, letter, email, and in person with agents, payroll centers, policy owners, and employees of other entities and departments. - Occasional support of LAN users. Qualifications: - Degree in a related field and some employment experience, preferably in a related environment. - Prior work experience with programming systems is essential. - UX/UI experience is a plus. - Analytical thinker with attention to detail. - Understanding of programming issues and requirements. - Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are critical for success in this highly interactive role.
