About the role
As a Mechanical Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in setting up and managing a state-of-the-art Soft Close Cabinet Hinge manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include: - Undergoing overseas training on automated hinge assembly machines and manufacturing processes. - Leading machine installation, commissioning, testing, and production ramp-up. - Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic assembly lines, PLC-based machines, servo systems, sensors, pneumatic cylinders, and automation equipment. - Ensuring maximum machine uptime, productivity, quality, and process efficiency. - Developing preventive maintenance systems and managing technical spare parts. - Training operators, technicians, and supervisors on machine operation and maintenance. - Establishing SOPs, process controls, and quality standards. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. - Spearheading the overall manufacturing process and providing technical leadership for the plant. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. - 5-8 years of hands-on experience with automated assembly machines, robotics, and industrial automation. - Strong knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, sensors, pneumatics, robotic arms, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). - Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred. - Willingness to travel internationally for training and project implementation.
