As a Mechanical Engineer for the state-of-the-art Soft Close Cabinet Hinge manufacturing plant, your role will involve setting up and managing automated assembly systems, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), and robotic arms. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility in India. Key Responsibilities: - Undergo overseas training on automated hinge assembly machines and manufacturing processes. - Lead machine installation, commissioning, testing, and production ramp-up. - Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic assembly lines, PLC-based machines, servo systems, sensors, pneumatic cylinders, and automation equipment. - Ensure maximum machine uptime, productivity, quality, and process efficiency. - Develop preventive maintenance systems and manage technical spare parts. - Train operators, technicians, and supervisors on machine operation and maintenance. - Establish SOPs, process controls, and quality standards. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. - Spearhead the overall manufacturing process and provide technical leadership for the plant. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. - 5-8 years of hands-on experience with automated assembly machines, robotics, and industrial automation. - Strong knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, sensors, pneumatics, robotic arms, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). - Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred. - Willingness to travel internationally for training and project implementation. The company is offering a salary package ranging from 4.8 LPA to 6 LPA.
