Role Overview: You are sought after to join a fast-growing engineering and development team as an experienced and innovation-driven WordPress Developer at Pattem Digital. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop WordPress themes, plugins, and websites. It is essential for you to be well-versed in various programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP, and possess a strong understanding of core design principles and industry-oriented practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high performing, highly scalable, customized themes, and plugin apps for WordPress. - Demonstrate attention-to-detail by coding multiple pixel-perfect responsive layouts using tools like Photoshop, Adobe XD files, or Illustrator. - Collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers to create aesthetically appealing, user-friendly websites and apps. - Stay updated with cutting-edge technologies in web development and bring best practices into projects. - Implement complex WordPress themes and plugins while maintaining proficiency in CSS preprocessors like SASS and utilizing command line tools for streamlined development. - Interact with RESTful APIs and formats like JSON and XML. - Utilize strong JavaScript experience, including state management, async operations, and unit testing, as well as frameworks or libraries such as React or Angular. - Solve problems effectively and have a keen eye for UX design. - Communicate effectively with team members to address complex issues clearly. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3-6 years of expert development skills with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Proficiency in modern PHP concepts like autoloading, dependency management, and frameworks like Symfony or Laravel. - Experience in crafting modern PHP and implementing complex WordPress themes and plugins. - Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS and command line tools for development. - Familiarity with interacting with RESTful APIs using formats like JSON and XML. - Strong JavaScript skills and experience with frameworks or libraries like React and Angular. - Problem-solving skills and a goal-driven personality. - Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with fellow developers, designers, and management. Additional Details: - You will be working in the IT corridor of Bangalore with competitive salary packages. - Immediate joiners or up to 15 days of notice period are preferred for this role.
