Quality Analyst

You will be joining the Integrations team at Pattern, a leading eCommerce data and growth company, where you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust marketplace connectivity solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating as an active and core member of the Scrum team to ensure quality is built into products and exposure to Agile Development Methodology. - Collaborating with the Product Management team during Sprint planning. - Demonstrating proficiency with tools like Functional Automation (UI) Tool and API Automation tools. - Understanding Quality standards and metrics for the product and deriving corrective action items. - Creating Test cases, Test scenarios, and Product documents based on software requirements and technical specifications. - Prioritizing testing tasks and test cases effectively. - Participating in Bug triaging and implementing measures to prevent them. - Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the Product. - Participating in quality improvement tools like Unit Test and RCA Addition. - Maintaining communication and cordial relationships with the development team and US counterpart for delivering quality products. - Promoting a solution-oriented and congruent approach. - Demonstrating passion and tenacity in your work. Required Qualifications: - 1-3 years of relevant technical experience in a Quality Assurance role. - Strong knowledge of Testing Concepts, Defect Management, Test Case writing, and Test Scenarios identification. - Comprehensive understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and software development life cycle (SDLC). - Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies. - Excellent skills in Functional and Web-Based Testing. - Experience with Automation Testing, API testing, and writing/maintaining Test Scripts. - Certification such as CSTE/CSQA/ISTQB Foundation Level would be advantageous. - Knowledge of public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred. - Proficiency in Database Knowledge, SQL queries, with PostgreSQL knowledge being an added advantage. - Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Expertise in Requirement analysis, Test Scenario and Test Case writing for Testing. - Experience in API Testing using tools like SOAP UI or POSTMAN. - Moderate-level knowledge of SQL to construct queries for data fetching. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
