Production Optimization Engineer

Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer at Peepul Agri, you will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and enhancing manufacturing processes to facilitate efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various stakeholders including product design, production, quality assurance, and suppliers to support both New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production phases. Key Responsibilities - Develop and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and routing - Define assembly sequences, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and line layouts for production - Optimize cycle time, takt time, manpower utilization, and material flow within the manufacturing processes - Ensure a seamless transition from prototype to volume production with minimal disruptions - Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen methodologies, 5S practices, and Poka-Yoke techniques - Enhance productivity levels through the introduction of automation, fixtures, or the redesign of existing processes Qualifications Required - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - Proven experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the agricultural or automotive industry - Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with manufacturing tools and techniques - Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues effectively - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Company Description Peepul Agri is dedicated to transforming farming practices through our C.A.S.E Agronomy solutions - Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric.
