We are looking for an experienced ADAS Test Engineer to join our team at our client location in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in ADAS testing, including technologies such as RVC (Rear View Camera), AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), and others. The candidate will be involved in HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) bench setup and operation, and have proficiency in tools such as Test Rail, ECU Test, Carmaker, and Test Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ADAS system testing (RVC, AEB, and related systems) to validate performance, functionality, and compliance with safety standards.

Set up and operate HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test benches, including the integration and calibration of hardware components.

Develop and execute test cases and test scripts using Test Rail for tracking and managing test cases.

Utilize ECU Test for ECU software testing, including validation of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication.

Execute and configure test scenarios within CarMaker for vehicle simulation and integration testing.

Perform test automation for regression testing and system validation to increase efficiency.

Document test results, report defects, and provide recommendations for system improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, calibration, and validation) to ensure timely and accurate testing.

Troubleshoot and debug test failures to identify root causes.

Work with the client to ensure compliance with project timelines and requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in ADAS testing, particularly with systems like RVC (Rear View Camera), AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), etc.

Testing Tools: Proficiency in using Test Rail, ECU Test, and Carmaker for test execution and management.

HiL Setup & Operation: Experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (Hil) test bench setup and operation.

Test Automation: Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance test efficiency.

Communication Protocols: Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.

Software: Hands-on experience in ECU software testing and validation.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Certification in ADAS or automotive testing is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in debugging and troubleshooting test failures.

Familiarity with ADAS and vehicle dynamics.

Experience with Agile methodology in testing environments.
