Infotainment Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Software validation and verification activities for Infotainment projects and modules.

• Generate test cases and Test scripts from requirements. Ensure complete test coverage by mapping test cases and requirements.

• Automate and execute test scenarios using available automation tool.

• Domain specific testing, Integration testing, Stability testing, Performance testing and Regression testing.

• Bench / Vehicle testing and troubleshooting.

• Issue reproduction and verification of resolved and fixed issues.

• Test case maintenance, manual and automated.

• Identification and classification of issues with log collection.

• Report issues in issue tracking system.

• Generate test execution reports with supporting artifacts like logs, clear issue description, steps to reproduce etc.

• Document and communicate test results

• Work with peers, leads and remote teams to ensure successful execution of test activities.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science / Engineering Desired, MS preferred.

• 2-3 years’ experience in software verification and validation.

• Preferably in Vehicle Infotainment domains.

• Experience in understanding system requirement specification, test requirement specification and converting them to test cases.

• Experience on system/functions and/or component testing and verification strategy, test plan.

• Experience in Blackbox Testing.

• CAN / MOST experience preferred.

• Ability to do hardware bench setup.

• Ability to Analyze issues and guide team to report in correct way.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience using JIRA, Confluence.

• Agile Scrum methodology.
