IT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational engineering, maintenance, configuration, integration, performance optimization, and end-to-end testing of information technology platforms to ensure stability, reliability and acceptable performance of HiL IT infrastructure

• Plans and validates upgrades of information technology systems, applications, and platforms in accordance with ITIL Service Operation best practices

• Responsible for enterprise monitoring with a focus on proactive response, operational resiliency, iterative improvements in efficiency and error elimination

• Contributes to operational goals through proactive maintenance, patching, upgrades, and platform refresh

• Research current and developing technologies to provide technical guidance pertaining to the capabilities, limitations, and requirements of information technology platforms

• Manage licensing of HiL software tools and equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in information technology / Software Engineering Management in IT

• 8+ years. At least 3 years experiences in HiL Lab Environment, plus experiences in project/program management.

• Experience as IT professional of IT project delivery/management or IT operation support/management.

• Good understanding of IT Security and Controls and IT Security Risk Management

• New IT technology practice/knowledge is a plus.

• Operating System/DevOps/CICD/Java background is desired.

• Testing equipment licensing (Vector, Intrepid, dSPACE, NI).

• Software development tools (JAMA, GitHub, etc.) experience.

• Previously working in a large/medium size IT organization with experience of IT project delivery/development/management or IT operation support.

• Design thinking and experience in agile implementation.

• Functional knowledge of various IT / Business functions, portfolios.

• IT Project Management experience/knowledge.

• Experience with IT Security and Control is needed.

• Familiar with Agile management tool, like Rally, Jira, etc.

• Knowledge on IT operation support model, ITIL certificate is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Delivery focus – ability to develop and manage a plan.

• Demonstrated capability to work effectively on global cross-functional teams.

• Proactive, willing to deal with a complex/challenged situation.

• Strong communication skill with up/down stream system, including Ecommerce, Finance, Business, etc.

• Experience of HIL testing ecosystem a plus.
