PLM System Design Engineer

ob Title: PLM Business Analyst (Functional Tester) Location: 100% Remote Role Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced PLM Business Analyst (Functional Tester) to support PLM implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on PLM systems, including Teamcenter, and a strong background in functional testing, quality assurance, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing test plans, executing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality PLM solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test cases and test scripts Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test plans Identify, report, and track software defects and issues Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects Perform system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Document test results and generate test reports Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 10+ years of experience as a Functional Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst, with extensive PLM project exposure Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) Ability to write clear and concise test cases and scripts Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications ISTQB or other relevant software testing certification Experience with Teamcenter PLM Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
