About the role
Key words –
Design of Static Seals: Glass run Channel, Inner belt, Outer belt & Below belt
Design of Dynamic Seals: Primary, Secondary, Hood Seal, Decklid and Applique
Profile Finalizing as per FEA results from Cooper for Pillar extrusions, inner belt & Outer belts.
Extrusion creation: Developing all the extrusions according to the vehicle environment following best practices & guidelines.
End Trims / Molds: Developing molds / endcaps attached to extrusions per requirement (corner molds, cutline molds etc.)
Layout creation: Layout is created to check the fitment of the seal to ensure the requirement is met.
SLA creation: Part / mold fitment is checked using SLA fixtures.
Creating & maintaining assembly Structure as per Cooper Standard procedure for each seal component.
Drawing creation: Individual drawings are to be made for each profiles and Assemblies and need to keep them updated with each design changes.
