Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Functional Architect to lead the design of end-to-end functional solutions across complex business domains.

This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technology execution, ensuring solutions meet business goals, functional requirements, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in functional architecture, business process modeling, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Solution Design:

Translate business objectives and requirements into robust functional architectures.

Define end-to-end business processes, use cases, functional specifications, and system interactions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on functionality, scope, and value delivery.

Serve as a key point of contact for business requirements and functional clarification during solution implementation.

Process Modeling & Optimization:

Model and optimize complex business processes using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., BPMN).

Identify areas for functional improvement, automation, and innovation.

Documentation & Standards:

Produce detailed functional documentation including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specification documents (FSD), user stories, and process diagrams.

Ensure adherence to functional and architectural standards across projects.

Solution Assurance:

Validate functional solutions during development, testing, and deployment phases.

Participate in QA and UAT planning, ensuring solutions meet business expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, functional design, or architecture roles, preferably in a complex enterprise or regulated industry.

• Strong understanding of system design concepts, data modeling, APIs, and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, custom platforms).

• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation.

• Hands-on experience with tools like Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.

• Knowledge of functional modeling techniques and industry-standard methodologies.

• Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.

• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

• Certification in business analysis or functional architecture (e.g., CBAP, TOGAF).
