Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance across our AI vision-powered robotics systems.
This role involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies—covering AI vision models, robotics controls, software, hardware, and system integration—to ensure robust, reliable, and seamless operation.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and leverage DevOps practices to embed quality, automation, and continuous integration through development, testing, and deployment.
Lead domain-specific testing for AI vision models, robotics kinematics, control systems, software algorithms, hardware components, UI, and automation cells.
Conduct system integration testing, performing end-to-end validation to ensure all subsystems function cohesively.
Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites and frameworks tailored for each domain.
Manage test infrastructure, including environments, DevOps/CI/CD pipelines, and test data versioning to ensure repeatable and scalable validation.
Perform root cause analysis, track defects, and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with software, robotics, hardware, and product teams to align testing strategies and integration milestones within Agile/Scrum workflows.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, quality metrics, and reporting to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance or testing for AI vision, robotics, automation, or AI-driven systems. • Strong expertise in AI vision, computer vision techniques, robotics principles (kinematics, sensors, actuators), and control systems.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks in multi-domain environments.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience validating AI vision models (object detection, segmentation, pose estimation) in production environments.
Familiarity with ROS, robotic simulation platforms, and industrial automation standards.
Programming skills in Python, C, C++, or C# for scripting and automation tasks.
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards relevant to robotics and automation.
