About the role
Job Description:
System Test Engineer is responsible to plan, develop and run system integration tests and system tests. He/she has the abilities of understanding the detailed functionality of the project and can create and follow a detailed System Test Specification and System Integration Test Specification. He/she has the abilities to perform all required tasks to test the system.
Responsibilities

Initiate and monitor system integration test activities:

Create a test plan for system integration test activity, with reference to other disciplines test plans and test specification

Identify the relevant test cases from each discipline testing which covers Product Architecture Requirement

Monitor Integration Test activities for all disciplines and gather the test results into a Test report
-
Create dedicated test cases for System Integration Tests, in case discipline level integration does not cover all PAD requirements

Prepare the System Test Plan in alignment with Engineering Timing Plan and project milestones.

Prepares the System Test Specification based on the Design Engineering Requirement Specification.

Validates the System against the System requirements using the prepared System Test Specification and planned tests for each phase.

Log defects from System testing in change management system.

Support design team in reproducing and debugging defects and in identifying the root cause.

Prepare a comprehensive test report with all relevant details included.

Regularly report to respective stakeholders (Product Validation and/or Product Development leads) the status of the activity by participating to regular project meetings and using the reporting method defined within the project.

Actively participate in internal or customer presentations and reviews, as required.

Ensuring that the relevant work products are adhering to the process defined at Client EI Engineering SPDP

Perform any other System specific activity, as required by the Product Validation and/or Product Development leads.

Provide feedback on processes for continuous improvements

Support Functional Safety activities

Ability to write scripts for test automation and test report generation

Tools Knowledge:

Integrity (Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Test Management,)

CAPL Script/Phython
-
Prior experience in an Electric Vehicle (EV) project with a focus on High Voltage Testing is required.

CANoe/ CANalyzer
-
dSpace / any HIL test set up and Vehicle level validation

Office applications, etc
