MERCHANT ACQUIRING Product Manager

Role Overview: As a Product Manager with strong Payments expertise in the Merchant Acquiring domain, you will be responsible for independently discovering, defining, and delivering product value. Your role will involve owning the product development lifecycle from discovery through delivery, prioritizing backlog, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and facilitating sprint ceremonies. Key Responsibilities: - Elaborate features into epics and stories; document functional & non-functional requirements. - Prioritize backlog, roadmap sequencing, and scope management. - Define/track KPIs, instrument analytics, and run A/B or iterative experiments. - Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, QA, Design, and Business. - Facilitate sprint ceremonies such as Reviews, Refinements, crisp demos, and stakeholder communication. - Conduct requirement elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping. - Translate business goals into clear, testable specifications. - Partner with Design on personas and journeys, and with Engineering on feasibility and sequencing. - Maintain high-quality documentation and traceability from requirements to test artifacts. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of merchant acquiring, including onboarding, settlement, payment acceptance, and processing. - Practical exposure to areas such as Merchant Onboarding, Underwriting & Servicing, Pricing, Risk, Fraud & Disputes, Chargebacks, and merchant billing engines. - Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Gherkin/BDD, Playwright, and Agile/Scrum practices. - Proactive, self-starter with excellent prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. - Strong customer orientation, research, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication for effective stakeholder updates and decision-making.
