Experience : 6-9 Years Location : Hyderabad Education Qualification : Any Graduation Work Mode : Hybrid Employment Type : Contract to Hire Notice Period : Immediate - 10 Days. : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 68 years of experience in automation testing and a strong background in Java. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks using Java and Tosca, along with hands-on experience in API testing, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks using Java and Tosca. - Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end business workflows. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality. - Create and execute API automation tests using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. - Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles where applicable. - Identify, report, and track software defects while ensuring timely resolution. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. - Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and quality metrics. - Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes for better efficiency and coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications - 68 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation. - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an SDET using Java and Tosca. - Solid programming skills in Java. - Hands-on experience in test automation framework development and maintenance. - Solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate. - Good understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML payload validation. - Experience with version control systems such as Git.
