Job Description: Role & Responsibilities: Required Technical and Professional Experience: - 8+ Years of Experience in Mainframe Storage Administration - Administer and manage z/OS storage environments, including EMC/Dell EMC mainframe disk subsystems - Configure and support storage replication solutions (SRDF) for high availability and disaster recovery - Perform disk initialization, reorganization, and space management activities - Maintain and update SMS definitions (Storage Groups, Classes, ACS routines) across LPARs - Manage enterprise tape library systems and tape management processes - Monitor and automate space allocation and dataset growth to prevent storage-related outages - Analyze and optimize I/O performance using RMF/SMF and storage performance metrics - Maintain DFSMS components and related storage utilities and products - Implement and support backup, archive, and DR procedures, including DR testing - Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity storage incidents and service requests - Coordinate with storage vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and escalations - Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
