Sr. Network Engineer

As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end architecture, design, and review of LAN/WAN networks for enterprise-scale deployments. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing telecom infrastructure blueprints, developing network strategies for multi-cloud and hybrid environments, and architecting and managing large-scale deployments of firewalls for robust security. You will also design and integrate cloud-based networking and security frameworks, optimize enterprise solutions, and manage Cisco infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading architecture, design, and review of LAN/WAN networks - Defining and implementing telecom infrastructure blueprints - Architecting and managing large-scale deployments of firewalls - Designing and integrating cloud-based networking and security frameworks - Managing Cisco routers and switches for enterprise and carrier-grade networks - Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to align architecture with project deliverables Qualifications required for this role: - Expert-level knowledge of firewalls and advanced security design - Proven experience in designing large-scale enterprise and telecom networks - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and IP telephony solutions - Deep exposure to telecom-grade architecture and carrier-grade connectivity - Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS networking services - Skilled in stakeholder engagement and leading architecture discussions Preferred qualifications include: - 12+ years of experience in network architecture and telecom infrastructure projects - Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE/CCDE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE - Strong knowledge of network automation and monitoring tools - Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective network solutions Key attributes for success in this role: - Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills - Excellent documentation and presentation abilities for executive-level communication - Ability to drive vendor accountability and ensure timely delivery of network components - Proactive in adopting emerging network technologies and best practices This is a remote job opportunity on a contract-to-hire basis, requiring immediate joiners with 10+ years of experience.
