Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Identity (IIQ) Developer with strong expertise in application onboarding, managing platform and managing joiner mover leaver process. This role will be responsible for onboarding applications into SailPoint IIQ, managing user lifecycle management & managing the functionalities deployed in the platform.
The role operates within an AI ‑ first delivery environment, where engineering, troubleshooting, and platform operations are continuously improved using AI ‑ assisted insights to enhance productivity, decision ‑ making, and operational efficiency within IAM delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and support application onboarding into SailPoint Identity (IIQ), leveraging AI-assisted analysis to accelerate onboarding, identify reusable integration patterns, and reduce manual configuration effort
• Configure and customize IIQ components including connectors, workflows, rules, and certifications, utilizing AI-driven insights to optimize configurations, improve reliability, and reduce defects
• Lead efforts to identify, remediate, and track vulnerabilities in SailPoint IIQ, applying AI-supported pattern detection and risk prioritization to improve remediation effectiveness
• Plan and execute patching and upgrades for SailPoint IIQ, leveraging AI-assisted impact analysis and predictive insights to reduce risk and improve planning accuracy
• Work closely with internal teams, business units, and external vendors to deliver remediation and onboarding activities, using AI-driven insights to support decision-making, collaboration, and solution optimization
• Drive issue resolution end-to-end, ensuring SLA adherence and timely closure, utilizing AI-assisted troubleshooting and log analysis to reduce MTTR and improve root cause identification
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and security reviews related to identity governance, leveraging AI-assisted analysis to improve evidence gathering, anomaly detection, and reporting efficiency
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support as needed, using AI-enabled diagnostics and pattern recognition to accelerate issue resolution
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and onboarding standards, leveraging AI-assisted documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and continuous updates
• Use AI ‑ assisted tools (e.g., copilots, intelligent search, automated documentation or analysis tools) to accelerate troubleshooting, code review, impact analysis, and documentation, while adhering to security and data ‑ handling policies
• Partner with platform, security, and architecture teams to evaluate and safely adopt AI ‑ enabled capabilities within IAM tooling where appropriate, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI governance and security standards
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve onboarding efficiency, operational performance, and IAM delivery outcomes
• Identify recurring patterns in onboarding, incidents, and lifecycle processes, and drive automation or optimization using AI-supported insights
• Deliver measurable improvements driven by AI adoption, including reductions in onboarding cycle time, incident resolution time (MTTR), and defect volumes
• Demonstrate an AI-first mindset, continuously exploring opportunities to improve development, operations, and governance through AI
• Ensure responsible use of AI in compliance with data privacy, security, and audit requirements
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
• Proven experience with application onboarding (custom and out-of-the-box connectors)
• Strong knowledge of Java, Beanshell, XML, and REST integrations within IIQ
• Experience remediating security vulnerabilities and managing patch cycles
• Experience coordinating with multiple vendors and managed service providers
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation for IAM platforms
• Strong understanding of SLA-driven delivery and operational governance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Practical experience using AI ‑ assisted developer or operations tools (e.g., coding copilots, log analysis, intelligent automation) in an enterprise environment
• Understanding of responsible AI usage, including data privacy, access controls, and auditability when using AI tools in security ‑ sensitive platforms
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI to improve engineering, troubleshooting, or operational workflows in IAM environments
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities using AI-supported insights
• Ability to frame problems effectively to leverage AI tools for analysis, troubleshooting, and decision-making
• Proven or emerging track record of improving delivery outcomes (efficiency, quality, scalability) through AI adoption
• High learning agility and curiosity to adapt to rapidly evolving AI capabilities and apply them in enterprise IAM contexts
