Senior React Developer

frontend applications in a micro frontend architecture. You will work on

React, TypeScript, and Node.js applications that integrate into a shared

shell, contribute to reusable UI and platform patterns, and deliver

features that are reliable, testable, and production ready.

This role fits someone who is comfortable working across independently

deployed frontend modules, integrating with shared platform tooling, and

building user experiences that connect to CMS-driven content,

authentication, routing, data-fetching layers, and backend services.

What You'll Work On

• Build React applications and microfrontends using TypeScript.

• Develop features within a shared frontend platform and shell-based

• architecture.

• Implement routing, data fetching, and client-side state patterns

• using modern React tooling.

• Build and maintain lightweight Node.js services, middleware, or

• Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers supporting frontend applications.

• Integrate frontend experiences with content platforms, APIs, and

• internal platform services.

• Work with shared design system components and maintain UI

• consistency across applications.

• Contribute to component documentation and visual validation using

• Storybook.

• Write automated tests and help maintain a high bar for code quality,

• maintainability, and performance.

• Collaborate with product, backend, platform, and design stakeholders

• in a multi-team environment.

• Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable frontend features in React.

• Build and maintain TypeScript-first code with strong typing and

• clear interfaces.

• Develop and support Node.js-based APIs, BFF services, and

• integration layers as needed.

• Work within a microfrontend/module federation setup and ensure

• smooth shell integration.

• Use TanStack Router and TanStack Query or similar patterns for

• routing and server-state management.

• Create and maintain reusable components, hooks, frontend utilities,

• and shared platform libraries.

• Integrate with CMS/content delivery systems, backend APIs, and

• Node.js services.

• Write unit, integration, and browser-based tests.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and

• frontend architecture decisions.

• Troubleshoot runtime issues across distributed frontend modules and

• supporting backend services.

• Improve developer experience through tooling, testing, linting,

• documentation, and CI/CD automation.

• Required Skills

• Strong experience with React in production environments.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and Node.js.

• Experience building modular frontend applications at scale.

• Experience developing REST APIs or Backend-for-Frontend (BFF)

• services using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, Fastify, or

• NestJS.

• Solid understanding of component architecture, hooks, rendering

• behavior, and state management.

• Experience with modern frontend build tooling such as Vite, Rsbuild,

• or similar.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest, React Testing

• Library, Jest, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Storybook for component development and

• documentation.

• Experience integrating REST APIs, CMS-driven content, and backend

• services into frontend applications.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and

• accessibility fundamentals.

• Experience working with Git, code review workflows, linting, CI/CD

• practices, and deployment pipelines.

• Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization

• patterns.

• Preferred Experience

• Experience with microfrontend architecture and Module Federation.

• Familiarity with TanStack Router and TanStack Query.

• Experience with design systems and shared component libraries.

• Experience with i18n/localization in React applications.

• Experience integrating authentication providers such as Auth0, Azure

• AD, or OAuth/OIDC-based solutions.

• Exposure to feature flagging, experimentation, or runtime

• configuration patterns.

• Experience working in monorepos and shared platform/tooling

• environments.

• Experience with Node.js-based server-side rendering (SSR) or

• middleware implementations.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and

• containerized deployments.
