About the role
We're Hiring | Piping Stress Engineer / Piping Material Engineer Location: Gurgaon Experience: 6+ Years Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week We're looking for experienced Piping Stress Engineers and Piping Material Engineers to join our engineering team and contribute to large-scale industrial EPC/EPCM projects across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Metals, Chemical, and Process Plants. Key Responsibilities Perform piping stress analysis and piping material engineering for industrial projects.Develop piping material specifications, piping classes, stress calculations, and technical documentation.Prepare/review material requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBEs), vendor documents, and datasheets.Design and review piping supports, expansion loops, spring hangers, and nozzle load calculations.Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, MSS, and other applicable international codes and standards.Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Procurement, and Piping Design teams.Review P&IDs, piping isometrics, 3D models, and vendor drawings to ensure technical compliance.Support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities by resolving technical queries. Required Skills 6+ years of experience in Piping Stress Engineering and/or Piping Material Engineering within industrial EPC/EPCM projects.Hands-on experience with CAESAR II and/or AutoPIPE.Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3/B31.1, API, ASTM, MSS and related piping standards.Experience with piping material selection, support design, vendor document review, and engineering calculations.Familiarity with E3D, PDMS, SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) or similar 3D design platforms will be an advantage.Excellent coordination and communication skills in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
