About the role

As part of our continued investment in technology and innovation, we are expanding our Global Technology Center (GTC) in Chennai. Our GTC is a high-impact hub supporting global operations across supply chain, technology, and corporate functionsdriven by a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning. Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer IAM to design, implement, and support enterprise identity and access management solutions. This role will work closely with global InfoSec, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant identity governance across systems. Job Details Function: Digital & Operations Location: Chennai Shift: 2 PM 11 PM IST Key Responsibilities IAM Delivery & Engineering Implement and manage IAM platforms and integrations across enterprise applications Design and enforce access control policies, RBAC models, and entitlement structures Manage user lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, role changes) Conduct access reviews, certifications, and remediation activities Security & Compliance Support audits (SOX, GDPR, etc.) through reporting, logs, and evidence collection Ensure adherence to IAM controls, policies, and regulatory requirements Drive improvements in identity governance and compliance posture Collaboration & Enablement Partner with InfoSec, cloud, and infrastructure teams for secure access design Automate IAM processes using scripts, APIs, or workflows Maintain documentation for IAM configurations, processes, and controls Required Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field Mandatory: CyberArk Certifications (Sentry or Defender track) Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Identity certifications Experience 47 years in IAM / Information Security engineering Hands-on experience with: Identity lifecycle management & provisioning RBAC and access governance Directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) SSO, MFA implementations Core Skills (Must-Have) IAM tools: SailPoint / Okta / Azure AD (any one or more) Access certification, entitlement reviews, audit handling Authentication protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect PAM tools: CyberArk (preferred), BeyondTrust Scripting / API-based automation (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs) Strong understanding of IAM controls and compliance frameworks Good to Have Cloud IAM: Azure / AWS / GCP DevSecOps integration with IAM Identity governance workflows and connector integrations What We Offer Opportunity to work with a global leader in retail technology High-visibility role in a growing GCC in Chennai Cross-functional global exposure Competitive compensation and career growth opportunities Company Overview We are a leading global retailer in the home improvement sector, serving millions of customers across North America and beyond.
