Development Manager Telecom Products

As a Development Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and delivery of telecom-grade products in the areas of Lawful Intercept (LI), Location Based Services (LBS), and high-performance network probes. These products operate under strict regulatory requirements, handle very high traffic and data volumes, and demand high availability, low latency, and absolute data correctness. Your role will require a strong balance of technical depth, architectural thinking, and team leadership, with active ownership of product quality and delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Own the technical direction and architecture of LI, LBS, and Probe products. - Drive design decisions for high-performance, scalable, and highly available systems. - Lead end-to-end development of telecom products handling massive traffic and data volumes. - Ensure correct implementation of protocol handling, data mediation, transformation, and storage. - Lead and mentor multi-skilled development teams (backend, system, and integration engineers). - Ensure systems are designed and tested for high throughput, low latency, and zero/minimal data loss. - Work closely with QA, System Engineering, DevOps, and Operations teams to ensure production readiness. - Drive Agile development practices with a strong focus on engineering discipline. Qualification Required: - 10-16 years of software development experience, with significant exposure to telecom products. - Prior experience in a technical leadership or development management role. - Strong experience with telecom systems, preferably in LI, LBS, probes, mediation, or monitoring platforms. - Strong hands-on background in system-level or backend development (C/C++, Python, or similar). - Proven experience designing and scaling large, distributed, high-performance systems. - Strong experience with Linux-based production environments and troubleshooting live systems. - Must be based in or willing to relocate to Navi Mumbai and work on-site.
