DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS HIPAA Specialist) Pertinent Healthcare Business Solutions DentTracks is looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS HIPAA Specialist) to design, build, and maintain our secure, scalable, and HIPAA-compliant SaaS infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Architect and manage HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2 H200, S3, CloudFront, ElastiCache, Secrets Manager, VPC networking). Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK. Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Argo Rollouts. Strengthen cloud security with IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield Advanced, GuardDuty, and Security Hub. Maintain high availability with multi-region architecture , failover, and disaster recovery. Enable observability through CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog. Optimize performance and cost efficiency using autoscaling and reserved instances. Ensure HIPAA, SOC 2, and BAA compliance in collaboration with security teams. Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and participate in on-call rotations. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles. Proven expertise in AWS HIPAA-eligible services and security best practices. Strong background in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with MongoDB Atlas, PrivateLink, and VPC networking. Familiarity with HIPAA/SOC 2 controls and audits.
