Job Title: Senior Engineer – OT, IIoT and ISO Compliance Location: Prithla, Palwal, Haryana Budget: 08 - 10 LPA Department: IT Service Center Job Summary: This role is pivotal in ensuring robust security, compliance, and operational excellence across the entire Operational Technology (OT), Industrial IoT (IIoT), and IT/OT convergence landscape. The engineer will lead lifecycle management, integration, and risk mitigation strategies while aligning with global standards such as ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, and local data protection laws (e.g., DPDP). The engineer will lead technical initiatives, audits, and lifecycle management of OT/IIoT assets, while coordinating with global teams and local stakeholders. Core Responsibilities: OT Infrastructure & Lifecycle Management • Manage legacy and modern OT assets including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, mGuard firewalls, and Windows XP-based systems. • Oversee patching mechanisms (e.g., Ivanti) for OT systems and coordinate extended support for EoL assets. • Lead segmentation and retrofit projects using secure zoning architectures. • Maintain detailed asset inventories and lifecycle documentation for audit readiness. IIoT Systems & Integration • Design and deploy IIoT solutions for predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and analytics. • Integrate IIoT sensors and gateways with existing OT systems and cloud platforms. • Ensure secure data transmission and storage across IIoT networks using encryption and access control. • Collaborate with production and automation teams to optimize IIoT deployments for operational efficiency. Security & Compliance • Implement OT security controls aligned with ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and corporate policies. • Coordinate OT security audits, prepare documentation (e.g., BIA, asset lists, emergency plans), and respond to findings. • Ensure physical and environmental security of OT environments. • Monitor vulnerabilities (e.g., Windows 10 EOL) and isolate non-compliant systems. • IT/OT Convergence & Risk Management • Conduct risk assessments and define mitigation strategies for OT/IIoT systems. • Collaborate with global teams to implement centralized services and policy rollouts. • Serve as liaison between IT, production, and facility teams for compliance and incident response. Audit, Documentation & Reporting • Maintain compliance documentation for ISO audits and internal governance reviews. • Prepare and submit reports for weekly/monthly IMS progress, OT emergency drills, and asset lifecycle, project status. • Lead internal reviews and participate in global audit coordination with Corporate Audit teams. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in OT/IIoT systems and cybersecurity. • Strong knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-82. • Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, mGuard, and IIoT platforms. • Familiarity with risk frameworks and audit processes. Preferred Skills • Strong project management, documentation, presentation and audit coordination capabilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work across global teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.
