About the role
Role Overview: As a Risk Analyst at PhonePe, you will be responsible for building risk strategies for the lending business. You will work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams to manage fraud and credit risk while supporting the business growth. Your key responsibilities will include building risk strategies, evaluating alternate data sources, developing risk models, and effectively communicating results and recommendations to stakeholders. You are expected to have a strong technical background, business acumen, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Build Risk strategies to manage Fraud and Credit Risk for Lending business - Evaluate alternate data sources to solidify the risk management - Develop the best risk models - Clearly communicate results and recommendations to various stakeholders - Evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and continuously improve upon them Qualifications Required: - BTech/BE from Tier-I & II colleges - Experience in SQL, Python, MS Excel - Experience with Statistical modeling such as Decision Trees, XGBoost, etc. preferred - Agile, highly collaborative, and impressive communicator - Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills - Data-driven with the ability to balance needs with business goals - Thrive in a competitive and result-oriented work environment Additional Details: PhonePe Limited, headquartered in India, is a leading digital payments app with over 600 million registered users and a vast digital payments acceptance network.
