Full time Work From Office This Position is Currently Open Department / Category: Admin Listed on Jun 26, 2025 Work Location: New Delhi Kochi Bangalore Job Descritpion of Oracle DDA Admin 6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle DDA (Database Design and Administration) Admin with 68 years of experience in Oracle RAC environments. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in Oracle database technologies, replication tools, performance tuning, and infrastructure maintenance. The role demands a proactive skilled who can support performance testing cycles, implement change requests, and ensure stable and optimized database environments. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage DBA activities during performance testing phases. Analyze and interpret performance data, including AWR reports, query plans, and system metrics (CPU, latency, response time, etc.). Execute and track change requests from performance/testing teams. Ensure smooth database operations and uptime during scheduled test cycles. Collaborate with performance leads to maintain test continuity across shifts. Perform Oracle infrastructure maintenance: installations, upgrades, patching, and health checks. Support backup, restore, and recovery activities. Assist Senior Performance Engineers in optimizing test frameworks and database environments. Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with internal standards. Technical Skills Required: Strong DBA experience with Oracle RAC (11g & 12c). Expertise in Oracle 11g/12c, PL/SQL, and core Oracle database administration. Hands-on experience with data replication technologies, including: Oracle GoldenGate Streams Veridata GGMon (preferred) Familiarity with MariaDB, MySQL, or MongoDB is an added advantage. Solid grasp of performance metrics: CPU utilization, response time, network latency, etc. Skilled in query optimization and reading AWR/query plans. Basic Unix shell scripting, particularly in AIX environments. Soft Skills & Other Requirements: Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal teams. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and shift-based team. Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
