Full time | Work from Office This Position is Currently Open Department / Category: Admin Listed on Nov 13, 2025 Work Location: Bangalore Job Descritpion of VMWare Admin 8-10 Years Relevant Experience We are looking for a highly skilled VMware Administrator with strong expertise in virtualization technologies and Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing our virtual infrastructure while collaborating across teams to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers. Administer and manage Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere environments (ESXi 7.0 and later). Handle Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation and process optimization. Troubleshoot ESXi issues related to storage, network, and performance. Manage and configure High Availability (HA), DRS, vMotion, Distributed Switches, Storage Migration, Cross vCenter Migration, and Upgrades. Work within ITIL processes, particularly incident, change, and service level management. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute scheduled activities. Provide 247 operational support on a rotational basis. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in VMware vSphere Administration and ESXi troubleshooting. Deep understanding of virtualization concepts and capacity planning. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting. Knowledge of networking and storage concepts in virtual environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong decision-making and leadership abilities, capable of working independently. High attention to detail with a results-driven approach. Good communication and conflict management skills. Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve. Work Environment 247 shift support (rotational).
