Full time Work From Office This Position is Currently Open Department / Category: Testing Listed on Feb 01, 2024 Work Location: Kolkata Job Descritpion of SDET Tester 6-8 Years of Relevant Experience Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SDET with 68 years of expertise in test automation using Java, and strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), AWS, and Datadog monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and driving test automation strategies in a cloud-native, DevOps-driven environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Java for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Work closely with development and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions. - Build automation around cloud-based environments using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). - Use Datadog and similar tools to monitor application health, logs, and performance during testing cycles. - Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define test strategies, test data, and coverage. - Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA). - Participate in code reviews and promote testing best practices across teams. - Contribute to continuous improvement by proactively identifying areas for automation and efficiency. - Ensure quality standards and compliance are maintained throughout the development lifecycle. Required Skills and Qualifications - 68 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. - Robust programming skills in Java for building and maintaining test automation. - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions. - Good understanding of AWS services and cloud-based test environments. - Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring and analysis. - Solid understanding of test methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices. - Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. - Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus. - Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Knowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. - AWS certification is a strong advantage.
