As a Lead Engineer Java (Backend) with 6+ years of experience, your role will involve designing and developing large-scale distributed applications architected for scale. You should be capable of supporting multiple tenants seamlessly and integrating with various external payment processors and intermediaries using industry-standard payment integration methods. Key Responsibilities: - 6+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in PaymentExpert, Spring, Microservices, and RESTful API - Competent in designing and building Restful Services in a commercial setting - Exposure to NoSQL technology - Strong communication and analytical skills - Product experience, preferably in financial products - Ability to drive communication with external partners, processors, and vendors - Strong time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities - Proficient in Agile methodology - Great troubleshooting skills and good decision-making substantiated with data - Competent in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability, and performance - Proficient in software engineering tools and best practices Qualifications Required: - 6+ Years of professional software development experience - Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes - Personnel and project management skills - Strategic Management - Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously In this role, you should be comfortable with working from the office 5 days a week.
