Process Planning Engineer

Job Summary The Process Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and managing detailed manufacturing process sheets by collaborating with program teams and manufacturing engineers. The role ensures accurate documentation, standardization, and availability of process information to support production activities. Key Responsibilities Collect all necessary inputs and technical data from program teams for process sheet creation Develop detailed, station-wise manufacturing process sheets Ensure accuracy, completeness, and standardization of process documentation Upload and maintain process sheets in program SharePoint or designated systems Collaborate with Program Manufacturing Engineers to review and validate process sheets Incorporate feedback and update process documentation accordingly Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes Ensure compliance with organizational and quality standards Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production Engineering or related field Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows Experience in process planning and documentation Familiarity with tools like NX CAD, Teamcenter, AutoCAD Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and coordination abilities Preferred Experience 2-4 years of Experience Experience working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing environments Exposure to process sheet creation and shop floor operations Location -Chennai.
