Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for various key activities including: - Designing, developing, and maintaining UI automation scripts using Playwright. - Executing comprehensive manual testing covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT. - Developing and executing API tests using Postman; validating responses, status codes, and data integrity. - Performing database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure backend data integrity, stored procedures, and data flows. - Conducting performance and load testing using Apache JMeter; analyzing performance issues and generating reports. - Building and managing interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau to monitor and communicate key QA metrics. - Creating and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports. - Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product owners to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices. In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess: - 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation). - Strong expertise in Playwright (TypeScript). - Proficiency in Postman for REST API testing and automation. - Proficiency in Java/JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in developing UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks. - Exposure to LLM-based solutions, including leveraging AI for intelligent test generation, validation, and automation optimization. - Exposure to GitHub Copilot, VS code, and AI tools. - Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance/load testing. - Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies and defect lifecycle. - Proven experience in database testing using SQL (e.g., joins, stored procedures, data validation). - Proficiency in testing Tableau dashboards for data analysis and reporting. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
