SAP MM Consultant (with Production Planning Integration)

Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with strong knowledge of integration with Production Planning (PP) to join our team. The candidate should have a proven track record in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP MM module while understanding its critical integration points with PP. This role involves working closely with clients to optimize their supply chain processes, inventory management, plant maintenance and production planning integration within the SAP Material Management module. Key Responsibilities Analyse client business requirements and design SAP MM solutions with consideration for PP integrationConfigure and customize SAP MM module to meet client-specific needs, ensuring smooth integration with PPImplement and optimize processes for procure to payment, inventory management, material requirements planning (MRP), and warehouse managementDesign and configure integration points between MM and PP modules, focusing on areas such as material reservations, goods movements, and production order managementProvide expertise in areas such as purchasing, inventory valuation, physical inventory, and material master data management and data migrationDevelop functional specifications for ABAP development team, particularly for custom reports and interfaces between MM and other SAP modulesConduct system testing, including integration and user acceptance testing, with emphasis on MM-PP integration scenariosProvide training and support to end-users on SAP MM functionalities and its interaction with PPTroubleshoot issues related to MM processes and MM-PP integration, providing timely resolutionsExperienced in full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation supportAbility to provide best practices and custom solution in materials management and production planningMinimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP MM ConsultantStrong knowledge of SAP MM business processes and their integration with PP and other SAP modulesExperience in multiple full-cycle SAP implementationsProficiency in SAP MM configuration, customization, and testingSolid understanding of production planning processes and how they interact with materials managementFamiliarity with SAP ABAP programming concepts is value addExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinating onsite offshore teamsSAP certification in MM module is plus. Additional Skills: Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plusExperience with SAP Fiori applications related to MM and PPFamiliarity with SAP and agile methodologiesExperience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive and service management is beneficialUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and how they apply to SAP MM and PPKnowledge of extended warehouse management (EWM) is a plus .
